CR Paints : Scope of Application

CR Primer Paints is basically suitable for application as a coating on steel structures, ship building, mechanical and automotive engineering, transportation and the protection of buildings in chemical plants, coastal and marine environments.

Remove oil, grease and other contaminants from the ferrous substrate using appropriate degrading agents. Clean the blast surface for strongly corrosive conditions [for the ferrous layer], apply the first et primer for stainless steel and aluminum. Before applying the CR primer, make sure that no rust particles remain on the surface. Stir the contents thoroughly into the container (storage may cause soft settlement). Then make the paint application suitable for viscosity using the recommended thinner. Apply with a traditional spray or brush. Be careful to remove the paint immediately after removing it to prevent moisture and solvent loss. Do not apply in extremely humid conditions or during rain, fog or mist. Do not apply on Belo 10 at very low temperatures. Over coating is possible at 1 hour intervals.
